WHAT IS REAL?

Projection

Perception

MASARU OZAKI creates sculptural works that merge projection, light, structure, and perception. Centered on the question “What is real?”, his practice spans architectural-scale projection, spatial light installations, and interface-like objects.

PROFILE / プロフィール

MASARU OZAKI is a contemporary artist whose practice explores the unstable boundary between image and object, perception and trust, body and space. Using light, projection, reflection, and interface-like structures, he creates spatial experiences that are both visually precise and conceptually rigorous.

In recent years, he has expanded this practice through Delay Sculpture, treating perceptual delay, afterimage, and residual sensation as sculptural material.
